MacAfee endpoint protection stopping win 10 upgrade

We have a client who it not using Mcafee, but must have in the past. When we try and update from win 8 to 10 it will not let us till we remove the program. The removal tool only seems available to corporate users. Any suggestions on getting this 10 upgrade to go? Nothing we have found has worked for us. Thanks

The term endpoint usually means a managed installation. So, be definition, it's going to be extremely difficult to remove. That also means there may be other surprises lurking in the shadows. Did you see the link below with instructions for CLI removal of Enterprise products?
