I'm trying to streamline our virus removal process and wouldn't mind seeing your list of how you remove viruses from pc's for your customers.
I have a new employee that I'm trying to get up to speed as virus removal is probably our #1 request.

This post if absolutely increadible. For myself and all the other wannabe computer techs here, thank you.

a few years ago ive been using 1 antivirus and anti spyware for virus and spyware removal.hoping i did that i cleaned everything but now its another challenge there are just too many .before theres just a virus now there malware ,spyware ,rootkits ,keyloggers and other nasty software, one anti virus is not enough you have to send an army just to get the job right ,done and efficiently.

1st i assemble these : i downloaded SARDU and D7 downloaded the antivirus iso's of that SARDU (KASPERSKY, AVG,BITDEFENDER,DR WEB,AVIRA,ESCAN,FSECURE,PANDA SAFE CD, and VB RESCUE) ,WINDOW REPAIRS burn it to DVDRW
D7 downloaded the update using kertin and added some custom software's

1. Now I ISO backup the whole drive(just in case something goes wrong before doing scanning and virus removal)
2. Hooked the cpu To the internet for updates i just use 5 antivirus for the scanning and cleaning using SARDU .
3.start scanning and cleaning of an infected computer.
4.use D7 for automated process using the malware removal and offline scanning sections.
5.do a bit maintenance work using D7.
6. prepare the installer used to install the system ,use the sfc command in repair section
of D7.
7.restart then thats it.
long but get the job done .you can sleep well at night too

I got a malware warning when clicking a lick about motherboard repair that led to tomshardware.com.

I'm flabbergasted. I've gone to that site for over a decade. The warning was for the subdomain img.tomshardware.com.

This is using Chrome in what seems to be a built in filter because I don't have anything installed but MSE and MB free edition.

Going straight to their homepage doesn't bring up any warnings. I honestly hope no one else experiences it when they click the link.

I'm only posting this because I have read Tom's for years and know it to be legit. Hoping it can get fixed if I'm not experiencing something out of the ordinary because I like that site a lot.
