How times change. My old Fluke 73 complete with soldering iron burn is still going. I bought a cheap meter for my tool case as the Fluke stays in the workshop. It packed up so buy cheap buy twice comes to mind. I picked up a new Fluke for the car. How times change

I got one of those too. Bomb proof.
Is that yellow thing one of those fancy current detectors ? Could have used that in Cyprus when a guy hack sawed thru the NAAFI 3 phase feed instead of a redundant radar cable :eek:

I just picked it up this morning, yes I think it is but I've yet to see it measure anything! My old Fluke 73 must be around 1990 or even earlier. It's rock solid.
