I have a client that has a Dell Lat. D620 with a Dell type D docking station that has gone belly up. Motherboard has failed and can be repaired cheaply enough but the client knows that it's probably best to move on to a new unit.
Never dealt much with docking stations. I mostly sell Lenovo but I've never sold any Thinkpads with a dock.
Needs of the PC are basic, Win 7 Pro, Office, an LOB app Called NetX360 for stock trades. Salesforce and outlook. Main thing is a dock with dual port output to run two monitors when docked, KB, Mouse and printer.
Who has the better setup? Dell or Lenovo? Or someone else? HP?
Are USB docs any good or they as I suspect mostly crap?
Thanks,
