Need help finding a very basic time clock / time-tracking type app

Hey guys.

I have a client with a pretty basic desire.

They want some sort of very basic time-clock / time tracking app or software to track employees coming and going from their office.

They want to be able to track about 10 people; and again just the very basics of when they come in & leave office.

IDEAL would be something like an iPad that sits at the front desk & connects to WiFi.

People enter their name or select from a pre-populated list. They "CHECK IN" & the app records what time they sign in.

Same for check out; type name or select from list, app records time / timestamp. IF the app could also automatically generate & send weekly reports that would be awesome.

At very least would need a simple process for manually exporting / generating report each week.

Can you guys please help point me in the right direction?

no experience with this myself but have you tried googling: "time card" "web based" i'm sure there has to be something that will work

@drjones Those requirements aren't really that basic. And, depending on where in the world you are, it may be necessary to ensure that the equipment/software you use meets any necessary data protection regulations, such as GDPR.

One of my larger business customers use Safescan's products (which are GDPR compliant):

Specifically, they're running Safescan's Time Attendance software and Safescan's TA-8035 devices. Although looking at the current line-up, I think the TA-8035 may now be an older/discontinued model.

I haven't personally used Safescan's products (I just helped to install it and do the tech stuff) so I can't vouch for it from a user point of view, but it seems to meet my customer's requirements.

Whatever you don't don't go with TimeClock Plus. One of my client's have that. Right after they bought it it went out of support. I'm holding it together with string and bailing wire right now. Their sales people are relentless. Wouldn't wish them on my worst enemy.
