Have had a cable ISP for a long time. Just switched to fiber. Connected directly to the ONT from the WAN port on Untangle - no modem. Untangle WAN port refuses to release the external cable IP address and accept a new one from the new ISP. Obviously (since I'm here asking), I do have internet access even with the old external IP address. I have rebooted the Untangle box thinking that should reset the interface, but no. I even unplugged it for almost an hour but it retains the IP address of the previous ISP.
I did find a thread from 2012 here:
https://forums.untangle.com/networking/30052-properly-release-wan-ip.html
I haven't seen anything addressing the issue in the wiki either, so I don't know where to look next. Will I have to rebuild it from scratch?
EDIT: Nevermind, I got it sorted.
