I replaced a screen on a Nexus 7 2013 2nd Gen yesterday and everything went pretty smoothly, this wasn't my first but when I turn it on the Google logo doesn't show up or the android man basically it stays black until it comes to a resting point which I assume is the swipe to unlock screen. At that point it displays random color pixelation. The power button works and volume buttons. It will charge and the speakers work.
I'm thinking I received a bad lcd but I was also thinking it could be the display cable even though that looks mint I read they are very sensitive. Keep in mind it was displaying fine before except for the huge crack in the screen causing the digitizer to not work.
I thought I would ask here before ordering more parts or calling the customer. Pictures are attached.
