Ok, I have a customer who has a machine with a SMALL (built in) SSD drive as the C: drive, and a large D: drive for vids music etc.
After all the Win8 Updates - the WinSXS folder Ballooned to 12GB and made the Windows DIR a total of 18.6GB!!!
So now I am trying to install Office 2013. I downloaded the file, and clicked it to run - it gives me NO options for custom location - and immediately kicks back saying not enough space - needs 5.5 or something free.
This is REALLY bugging me.
I am writing to see if anyone has discovered a method to do this? Like a properties thingy I could put in the shortcut (e.g. setup.exe -d:, or setup.exe -custom)
Any help would be greatly appreciated! I really don't want to have to reformat this system - and neither does the customer.
