I am trying to use "google apps sync for outlook". It only supports the full msi install of office, as opposed to the click to run install. A little more info. I got office 2013 preinstalled with a Dell computer. I am assuming this would be an OEM version.

I was looking at this link. When I try and follow its directions I am not getting any of the same prompts as mentioned in the guide, for example "download" or "advanced".

How do you recommend I install the full msi version of office 2013 home and business?

Thanks!

You're not getting prompts because that article is for 2010/
GASFMO doesn't work properly with the Click-To-Run version of Office 2013 it will only work with MSI versions.
In order to get around it.

1) Remove any pre-installed versions of MS Office
2) Remove any previously installed GASFMO
3) Install an MSI version of MS Office 2013. There are ISO downloads available from Digital River. Only install the programs that you have a licence for.
4. No need to activate
5. Install GASFMO
6. Install your CTR version of Office
7. Uninstall the MSI version
8. Everything shoud continue to work.
9. You may have to manually create application shortcuts.

@Rob_NNCC - Will that work and if so what's the procedure to install from the OPK?

Seed, I am not 100% sure it will work with GASFMO as I have not tried it, but it is what I use if the preinstalled version fails, as it often does. You mount the image, open it up, select folder on the bit debt (32 or 64), run the installer, put your key in, watch that annoying video, wait, installed.

Thanks guys.

Is their a way to just download the full msi version without going through many hoops?

There is NO msi version of the consumer versions of Office 2013.

This is what I meant in my post above but bear in mind that the only msi version available there is Professional Plus NOT Home & Business which is what the majority of SMEs are using.
