One customer export in quickbooks.

Nope, and since Excel can take the tabular data that is the customer details and easily let you manipulate it into whatever you want... I have to ask... What exactly are you trying to do that makes this pathway unacceptable?

The attorney on the other side has been rejecting this option from the client. I will be doing this tomorrow and making sure it is being done correctly.

You'd have to find out the reason why, but if he's grumbling about a proprietary format...

1.) xlsx is an open format.
2.) csv files are always an option, though you may have to use Excel to make one.

Maybe the attorney doesn't trust the client, and was hoping for a non-manipulatable way to export the data. I got this kind of pushback once so I invited the attorney to hire their own technician to do the work.

Aren't printed reports sufficient? Maybe they don't like Excel, because numbers can be changed easily.

Chain of custody is really important. And your solution is perfect.

@ThatPlace928 Prints can be easily manipulated too, HCHTech has the answer if the attorney is paranoid. His tech does the work while being observed by @computertechguy. No one can hide in such a scenario, signed statements are possible, everyone's on the same page, and guaranteed no tom foolery.
