This is my own system.

I was doing a custom wiring harness for a Raspberry Pi 3, and messed up one of the USB cables which lead to my keyboard receiver being shorted out. Not realizing this I tried plugging it back in my old Dell and the power turned off immediately.

Now, yes this is an old system but was a nice build with Core 2 Quad and SSD.

I'm curious based on history of these boards, would it be the board itself or PSU? I did replace the caps in this thing some time ago. I need to look but there might be a fuse somewhere, it does power on but only shows orange/amber.

I have a replacement system board (AMD APU 5350) that I can eventually use if this one is toast.

One wire......bah

Well, after having been powered off for a day, it actually powered on and posted and booted into Elementary Os.

Weird. Must have been a resettable fuse or something. Haven't tried the front usb though. So far, I just need a new keyboard.
