Pics of your Work Areas!

They're only £20 from PCWorld :) Although they're quite shallow so I can't quite get my whole ass on there :p

I would be interested to know how long you folks spend on your jobs. If a job is likely to involve a windows reinstall or lots of virus scanning, I take the machine away. This means I can leave the machine on in the background and it usually works out cheaper for the customer. Plus I don't have to sit infront of the screen onsite bored out of my mind waiting for things to finish. I can usually return them the next day aswell. I think I'll start a thread about this now.

Very nice cmnova and tartis :)

cmnova - have you got a shop or an office?

Tartis - would you say the advertising on your truck has paid off?

tartis - Nice logo.
Still designing my site, and working on a logo. trying to get the sand theme in the logo :)
Now same question stands Did the car advertisement pays off?

So far I have total of three cars, welling to put advertisement on back windshiled.

Hey Breadtrk just so I get this right, is the "main service dept" on the left side of the desk and the "billing dept" is on the right side, or is it vice-versa....lol. the parts dept looks busy too. seriously, all of my computer stuff is in my basement and it was a complete mess as well; I had to spend all of Saturday cleaning and it's still not finished...what a pain.

You can see my wallet on the right side, in the hat. That right there is the billing dept.

The Arrows you see laying around are the collections dept.

I think that it paid off. For under $400, just getting a few jobs in the next 3 years pays it off. It is all about name recognition in advertising. I also have a small billboard that I have an ad. I do not think that I will renew my 1 year contract for the billboard.

Tartis, I hope you dont mind me asking but what technology are you using for your remote support product? Having the company logo in the setup is ideal for what I have in mind..

I just started using Crossloop. A very easy install that your customer can just hit next about three times to install (with you on the phone), and it's free. I am not using my logo with Crossloop, only for the button on my web-site.

Thanks for the info.

@tartis You're truck looks good. I think vehicle advertising works great. I always look at logos and names on vehicles, especially if it's something unusual.

I have on my bench (left) a 4 port KVM switch to keep busy during scans, a 2 port KVM for my server and office pc (center) and an area for the laptops (right) helps keep things tidy. Note the anti-static mats under the computers.
