Possible bios virus

On Toshiba laptops you're looking for jumper b500 (b for bios), it's not on all of them, but if there I just solder a piece of wire across it, boot, then shut down and remove the jumper wire.
Other options are to reprogram or replace the bios chip.

This might have been asked. But after entering password wrong does it not go to system lock where you can enter master bios password?

If there isn't a jumper, I would replace the laptop if the customer will go for it. Otherwise, I would check the price of a replacement motherboard keeping in mind if motherboard exceeds $50 it isn't likely worth it.

Have a check for jumpers near the CMOS battery, it should be next to the hard drive on this model I think. I had a similar issue where a Toshiba randomly set itself a BIOS password and found the jumper I needed was next to the CMOS battery.
