I'm looking to get a router that can be hooked up to a AT&T hotspot to use as a backup.

The business in question has a management system that we currently have set up on an internet network with a SQL server that also acts as their file server.

The management software is about to go to cloud based, meaning that their internet connect needs redundancy. So I'm looking for a router than will handle having a USB hotspot as a failover option.

They are in the country with few good options for internet service as it is, just fyi.

I'm very open to any ideas any of you guys have.

Cisco Meraki Z1 or MX64 or MX65

Datto also has a UTM that has this capability and the 4G LTE service is included in the subscription. It uses Verizon.

Years ago I played around with Vyatta and my AT&T stick. Took some figuring but got it to work. These days the problem with many of these 3g/4g/LTE devices is you cannot bridge them. So they hand out a private IP and you're double NAT'd. So it's important to check the device.
