So this was cool, and I thought I'd share it.

Had a Windows 10 Lenovo laptop at near constant 100% CPU usage. "Runtime Broker", running from the System 32 folder, was taking up 80% of that usage. Weird right?

The fix?

Disable "Show me Tips about Windows" from Settings -> System -> Notifications & actions.

Kinda blew my mind. Couldn't find this info anywhere so I thought I'd share.

I've seen Cortana and web results in searches (always turn off now!) be a problem, but not this one. Nice find!! How did you track that down?
I've been using Windows X App Remover to trim out the Windows 10 rubbish Apps but I'm not sure how effective that is really.

Just kept turning stuff off till it fixed the problem.

Turned it back on and it came back.

Thanks! Turned it off on a client's machine yesterday and brought CPU usage down from 99% to 29%! It would've taken me a long time to ferret that out.

WTH could it actually be chugging away at 99-100% cpu usage for so long to do? Deciding which random hint to pop up next boot? How long could that actually take? :)
