Hey Guys,

Been having a issue with a customer's server recently, getting alerts for low disk space every few minutes. After looking through the hdd we can across a sage folder within Windows\Temp folder.

Every few minutes the folder increases in size, to the point the hdd only has a few MB's left. Seconds later it deletes the folder and frees up space again. This happen non stop through out the day.

Any ideas why Sage is creating this?
The files in the temp folder are all named filename.001

It sounds like Sage is doing an automatic backup to the Windows\Temp folder and removing it when it reaches a certain size or a certain number of backups. Check the Settings under Company and Backup located under Setup >- Settings >- Company >-Backup. If that isn't it then i'm not sure what's causing it.

I'll second that. That '.001' suffix is what Sage uses to name its back-up files. As a test, you should be able to change the default back-up location to (say) '/Backups' and see if your monster file starts appearing there instead of in the Temp/Sage folder.
