I am calling out this company because I got robocalled a 11:30 at night and was sound asleep and needed to wake up early today.

The company

They were pushing this product.

I am sorry but if you call me at that time of night I don't care what you are offering you can install it where the sun don't shine.

This was not a time zone mistake, There in MY timezone.

Move to TEO if you must but I wanted the world to know about these practices.

@Porthos. I think that this post is ok in gen chat. Although I will remove the links. After all, we don't want to give the company to many links to their site from us.

Same as the general public who will read this thread. We want them to contact true professionals, not companies who attempt to be so like these guys.

Oh wow. You too! It went to my voicemail. I don't have any clients that can call me at that hour.
Every thing forwards to my cell sitting next to my bed. It is also my alarm so it is full volume.

Also it was the first in 3 since my son was in the hospital since Monday. Don't sleep too well when he is not home. He also came home last night.

Right now none of my clients are 24/7. They all keep business hours and so do I. So I can schedule calls after hours to go to my voicemail. Then I get a text telling me I have voicemail. But the phone is on vibrate when I sleep except for a few phone numbers, (like my elderly in-laws) who get an override at full volume. I love smartphones.....

Did a bit of googling and these people seem to be big in Nebraska well at least big in marketing. For an updater at $25 a year they claim 78% of people who try the trial keep it, LOL. Kabuto can do that and more.

Yeah I have no idea if it is branded or anything so sounds like a great way to give away your clients.

If the call was to your cell phone and they don't have express permission to call you, then that's a $1500.00 per call fine from FCC. There are ambulance chasers here that advertise to collect on that.

I see a TN class action suit coming up :)

They were in violation of one or more laws. Know an attorney that can go after them???

From the FTC.gov site:

Are there other protections against unwanted telemarketing calls?
The TSR prohibits deceptive and abusive telemarketing acts and practices. It establishes standards of conduct for telemarketing calls:

  • Telemarketers can't call you before 8 a.m. or after 9 p.m.
  • Telemarketers must promptly tell you the identity of the seller or charitable organization and that the call is a sales call or a charitable solicitation.
  • Telemarketers must disclose all material information about the goods or services they are offering and the terms of the sale. They are prohibited from lying about any terms of their offer.
