The myriad M365s - How can you quickly and easily tell them apart?

@britechguy Each user gets a 1TB OneDrive with the Family sub.

Honestly that's worth $100 a year all by itself IMHO.

Also as usual for M365, each User can have 5 non-mobile devices licensed.

I found this very confusing as well. I prefer perpetual license cause it's more cost effective and I don't need the new features. I have an Office 2021 license from a site and I have access to the core apps without the ongoing subscription fees.
That site is almost guaranteed to be selling fraudulently obtained licenses. Only reason they are still running is they are not located on US soil. Office Pro Plus 2021 for $29.99? Yeah. Right. Not!

I think that post needs to be removed as do not want spammy/illegitimate software links here.

MS Partner Listings - they are not listed. RED FLAG!

Good to "not" quote affiliate/spam links when reporting....because even when Kitten removes the spammers post....peoples quotes keep the link alive on the forums, getting hits, non forum members may get Googled in from the link and hit it, etc. If quoting a bad link, members should edit out the link itself. @Kitten Kong ...you may want to edit the couple of replies above and fully remove that link to the junkware site.

Thanks Brian. I forgot to edit the link.

In mark's post,I'm not able to edit the quote per se. So have removed the quote entirely.
Looks like it did get edited somehow. But no worries. As we all mentioned don't need links to disreputable sites anywhere on this forum.

Hence my comment about they are still in business because they are not located in the US. Uk instead. And UK follows European laws which consider software to be able to be resold without any restrictions. So they can buy from all kinds of "outlets". I'd bet they are on the list simply because they filled out the partner form and paid the fee. Also the MS listing shows all MS Products yet their website only shows non-M365 stuff.

Kind of like CleanMyMac and other macOS garbageware. They are positively listed as Apple partners because they filled out the paperwork and paid the fees.

My point is, "They are listed, and by Microsoft."

We're back to my oft-stated position, "If Microsoft is not serving as its own gatekeeper about these things, well, I'm not tasked with that role."

They're listed as a Microsoft Partner located in a western democracy we consider an ally. Hence, they're a Microsoft Partner. If they're up to something Microsoft doesn't approve of, that's on Microsoft, as they're supposed to vet and monitor.

@Markverhyden Mark, I've edited your message to remove the link to the website in question.
