WinMX was a "Gnutella" alternative. I think Gnutella was the first? file sharing program. When the Gnutella network stopped, WinMX came along just before we had Kazaa, Morpheus and others!Arruuu? I know Win SE, ME XP, XPe and more. What is a WinMX?
Just like most of the others, it's seems to me that they are investing much less resources into malware/spyware research. It's not a good cleaning tool anymore, in my opinion. Haven't used it to clean a machine in ages. Would be interested to know if any techs still use it to clean machines...What's the scoop with Spybot? I haven't used it in forever, but it sounds like it turned bad or something?
