The Ultimate Mac Repair Quick Reference Guide

Personally I don't do mac repair at our store / shop, but we do have at least one person who will tackle the software side and I'm quite sure that that same person could also do repairs with the right info. So I'm sending those links to my business email addy and will pass along the info.

Thanks for posting.

Really? You haven't had the pleasure of replacing an iMac keyboard with its 55 screws (after gutting the machine) that are a 1/4 of the size of a grain of rice? (I've always wondered why Macs are only 10% of the computer base but are 30%-40% of our calls. Is that telling us something about the user base then?)

Wow, thanks for the link. I have also received work for saying I support Macs (hey, they aren't that big of a deal if you are willing to read a lot). I could have definitely used this site to answer a lot of my questions which were spent on Google...I will always be a PC guy, but one thing that I do like about the Macs is that you can boot into a recovery mode and download the whole OS through the net...no need for a CD/USB.
