Two different clients, neither storing credentials in credential manager. Login required everytime.

I delivered the laptop back this morning with it running 1909. They have a second laptop they are going to get me the first of the week. I'm going to try the Task schedule trick on that one.
Being able to work together on a problem like this is what makes this a great community.
I've been troubleshooting this for 4 weeks off and on. Hopefully some of what I did in this post helped.

Actually it was because of the fact I had been reading your posts over the past weeks that when I got the call I knew everything you had tried so that my first thought was to try a rollback since you hadn't tried that yet.
So what you did definitely helped. :)

Yeah I had already N&P'd because I was beyond rollback period on that particular workstation.

I have now fixed this issue on 2 computers by deleting the task

HPCustParticipation (whatever printer)

Just out of curiosity has anyone seen this on a non-Dell computer? I have customers with many different brands but interestingly it has only appeared on Dell Laptops.

I had this on a Lenovo machine. Deleting the Carbonite task using the same Powershell command seems to have fixed it.

Just for my curiosity, has anyone reported this issue, and the fix, to the entities whose processes seem to be the root cause?

If HP and Carbonite are not aware of this already, they should be made so.
