Wanted Universal Notebook Power Supply

[Frustrated]

I often get clients dropping off their laptops/notebooks without their power supply so the battery goes flat before I finish a repair. Is there a universal power supply with different connections and power outlet setup that I can buy. Live in Australia so would have to be a 240v, suggetions would be appreciated.

I purchased mine on ebay from a company in Hong Kong for around £15 It includes 8 different adapters and has worked with every laptop I have come across so far.

Loads available on eBay and you should be able to buy them from your hardware wholesaler. Don't bother trying to resell the switchable voltage units to customers though, I had a customer who thought he could increase the performance on his laptop by upping the voltage output from the PSU - he then wanted me to compensate him for his foobared laptop as I sold him the means to fry it!

Yes I knew there is universal laptop adapter that comes with diffrent connectors and different voltage for different laptops. Works on 110v - 240v.

I'm very wary of buying items from hong kong sellers on ebay but its still a good place to buy stuff as i bought a ps2 and games recently, i loved to play some ps1 games when i was a lad my nephew loves the ps2 too
