So you guys been really helpful since my last post regarding about closing the store and move to onsite service. I found out when I was driving by my own store, I couldn't see any signs. If I was one of those drivers, I wouldnt know what store this is and what services they were offering.

So here it was before

Thanks for your help guys!

Signage looks much better. You might consider using some type of cord to hold the lower inside corners of the two signs together and maybe on the lower outside corners, a cord be attached to hold them straight as to not flap around in the wind...

Agreed you need to do something more about the new signs. As it stands they will not last long hanging the way they are. Also they block part of the window display. You could frame them or even tie a small diameter metal rod, full length, to the bottom to reduce curling and/or flapping. Also you should ask some friends and/or family to drive by to get an idea of what/how much they see.

Personally I would do away with the Intel posters as they are too small to grab someones attention. You are looking for that curb appeal with a store front to gets their attention. I would suggest something like vinyl letters so you can use the windows as a billboard while still letting people see in. It also gives you a way to advertise a special in one window and computer repair/virus removal/etc in the other window. The letters go on real easy with just a spray bottle of water and you peel them off and reuse to change around wording. For the outside signs you do want to get some weight on the bottom to keep them looking proper. A simple wooden dowel or replacement broom handle cut to length - drill a hole in each end - string wire/zip tie/etc through the grommet into the rod and are set.

yeah. Intel sent me them in March. My previous store had really long windows and I just wanted to fill the space.

I am planning to put them inside near the customers chairs so they can read something while a quote is being processed. Good point on the sign guys!

Frankly, I find the banners a little cheesy. "Faxes and Copies" get more attention than "Computers" because they are larger and colourful vs black. I would get them painted up on a single back-lit board that looks professional and hang that from the eaves (if municipal bylaws and the landlord allow). I would also replace the current window posters with something as colourful and eye-catching as what you proposed, but with way less detail. Just my 2 cents.

agree with all the above but nonetheless on the right track. you managed to step outside and see what other people see, or not in your case, so well done for that.

when i first set myself up i got the biggest sign i could reasonably afford to face the road. The place is non obvious, as is yours, so i need to make myself seen. It's paid for itself many times over in drive by customers.

Defiantly catching someone eye. As previously said the Intel posted cannot be seen from a distance so I would do away with it. PC repair in big is good.
