[REQUEST] What type of cable do I need for this?

I just bought a Lanner appliance to use for an Untangle NGFW install. They are having some kind of sale or something. Either way, first thing I forgot to check was the size of this box. It's like a full size server, at almost 18" deep! I was thinking a network appliance size around half of that, but what's done is done.
Next thing I didn't notice was that it didn't have a VGA or HDMI out port. The board does have a VGA pinout, labeled as 2x6 2.0mm in the manual. What type of cable do I need to get to connect a monitor to this?
This is the unit I bought: https://www.lanner-america.com/buy-...s/x86-rackmount-network-appliances/fw-8758a/#
I have an older unit from Nexgen Appliances that uses a similar cable for VGA, but it's too wide for my unit. I attached pictures of the board and the Nexgen cable I have. Hope someone can assist here.
Thanks in advance.

That's just a flat ribbon cable with a standard ribbon cable connector. The manual says it has openings in the back for USB2, RS232 and VGA. So you'll need to know which MB connector is for which feature. Can't tell with the resolution of the picture posted, but they are usually silk screened on. It's been sometime but I do remember seeing a VGA cable with the black connector on one end and a D-Sub on the other. You'll also need to know if that ribbon split is for a crossover os saving space.

The 8758 appliance is what we used to use for the NG-1500 and NG-2000 chassis, the pin header is proprietary. You have to get one from lanner.

Not so easy is it? There's a reason I charge what I do to solve all this BS for you. Wait until you get one of the current devices! And you find out there is NO onboard video without an IPMI LOM board that isn't really IPMI, and you need the cable... as well as something to mount the port to.

And sadly, with Lanner downsizing all over the place... I don't know if that cable can even be had. Things have gotten strange with them this year. The good news is you don't need it, and can work around missing the video. Install Untangle on something else, move the drive over, the 2nd port will respond to 192.168.2.1. Beware, if you have an expansion card in the system, the 2nd port might be on there.

Now that we've taken food out of my kids' mouths... onward I suppose.

Thanks for that.
Just so you know, I first went to your site to shop, but I was specifically looking for a rack mount unit with built in fans. The ones you have start at like $1,500 rated for 500 users. I only need it for smaller deployments which should work with the desktop chassis you have, but I want those fans in the bigger chassis.
I once bought such a unit from you, but it seems they're discontinued.

Yeah, everything on my site is bogus right now anyway. Lanner is only supporting the very top end stuff now from our market. I do have a new device in testing that I'm planning to sell in support of Untangle and OPNSense. It's a direct replacement for the 100D but will be offered at a reduced price point in comparison.

However... 1 year warranty only... no fans (doesn't need them), 4 interfaces and no rack mount. Though there's an ISO bracket that could be used for a wall mount. And there are some rubs with how you can install Untangle on it... it requires a special procedure. I haven't even gotten to what would be the NG-500 yet. NG-1000 and higher I have a replacement chassis for, it's not what's listed on the site... but it has all the features you've come to expect from the line still.

As I said, Lanner went stupid in 2020. The supply chain is in tatters, and finding stock on things that will be around for more than 2 months isn't trivial.

It'll furthermore be a cold day in Satan's realm before I sell a Quotom, or Protectli device... those things come from factories known to provide compromised hardware. And we don't need IoT firmware hacks in our security devices now do we! Which is... of course what everyone's using at the moment... Untangle included.

So stay tuned I guess, because Nexgen's entire line will be completely new for 2021. It's just taking me time to vet everything.

@tek9
I can't get the cables anymore but I was able to dig this out of a manual for the 8758A platform:

So if you're enterprising, you can now make your own cable.
