I used to get all my motherboards from Tigerdirect or Newegg.

Well I have a customer with an AMD athlon 64 x2 chip on a BAD motherboard.

As it seems to me, TD and NE, dont carry these boards anymore.

Anyone know of any trusted suppliers I could still buy these boards from, or are ASUS, Gigabyte, etc. just not making them anymore??

I can vouch for serversupply.com...we've been using them for many years. Usually for server stuff, but they do have some desktop components. If you still can't find one, my repair guy has another old legacy parts supply house he uses...I'll try to find that site.

Ebay is your friend on this. Just plug in the model number of the motherboard.

I appreciate the tip of the site! However, how do you search for a board on here?? Maybe I should just call them

I found it quite easy..."Motherboards" link on the left side..."Desktop" assuming it's a desktop PC. Pick brand or model for that long list.

Having more information than provided in this thread would certainly help. I'm sure you have the old dead motherboard in front of you...I'll bet a truckload of Guinness that it has a make/model printed on it which would help. Or the brand of PC that this came from (unless it's some oddball cloner). Then you'd just do some homework...reference the specs of that motherboard..either look for it, or an equivalent.
