I've just realized that I was wrong. There's now a range of reactions hidden under the "Like" button including "Sad" and "Angry", so the Reaction Score really
is a Controversiality Index.
I don't like this at all.
Technibble is basically a friendly place with occasional squabbles that generally die down by themselves (or with a gentle nudge from
@Kraken) and the single "Like" button helps to encourage the "if you can't say something nice then don't say anything at all" tone. Adding in an "Angry" button seems likely to polarize debate and make this a much less supportive community.
@BryceW - Please consider going back to the old system of "Like or nothing". This could kill Technibble as we know it.
