Has anyone found a solution for the non working webcams after the Win 10 update?

I tried HKLM\SOFTWARE\WOW6432Node\Microsoft\Windows Media Foundation\Platform, add DWORD “EnableFrameServerMode” and set to 0, you will then need to restart Skype.

That didn't work.

Have you tried changing "both" of these keys.
I see you mentioned the one above, but not the 2nd.

  1. Open regedit from the Start menu.
  2. Navigate to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows Media Foundation\Platform
  3. Right click the Platform folder and select New > DWORD. Name it “EnableFrameServerMode”
  4. Right-click the new value and select “Modify”
  5. Enter “0" in the “Value data” field.
  6. Navigate to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\WOW6432Node\Microsoft\Windows Media Foundation\Platform
  7. Repeat steps 3-5.

Yes I did both, but it hasn't worked sadly.
I can't find anything else to try.
I feel a N&P coming :(

Mine has failed 2x now with some updates gone wrong. Lucky me, I just unplugged it and plugged back in, drivers installed automatically.
