Windows 10 will be a free upgrade for “genuine and non-genuine” users

It seems Microsoft is no longer requiring activations for Windows 10 upgrades. It might be temporary as their activation servers have been overloaded generating a high number of support calls support calls according to a Microsoft rep.

I wonder if later, with the mandatory update requirement, they will declare some of these unauthorized?
