Need help with formatting in word. Trying to do a comparison chart for Office 365. From the image you can see it look all nice in word but when I save it as a PDF or print it I get what you see in the PDF.

The header is an image added page layout > page colour > Fill Effects. I am about to pull my hair out with this, anyone got any ideas?

Do you have the same problem in Print Preview?

Set up a new doc and use only your header. Will it print properly?

It prints okay with just the header but I then get a white border and the colour is dulled down if I place it in the header section.

When you create the pdf, what do you use? Create it with another pdf writer, they don't always conform to the Adobe pdf standards

Did you mention that it if you send it to an actual printer, it prints the same way as it does to the PDF printer? (the original document)

Hi I originally used words own PDF creator but when that failed I tried cutePDF. I them printed it off to get the same result in all three

Well, looks like there's not a lot of help for this subject...

I'd resize a copy of the graphic in an image editor to be the exact size you need it to be in Word and give it another shot.

If no go, then I'd switch to Publisher instead of Word.
