My best friends wife - generally fit and healthy, only 28 years old, had a stroke yesterday. The MRI doesn't look good with 75% of her brain looking "cloudy". She lost all mobility and her entire right side of her body is immobilized and droopy. No vision in the right eye, either. Prognosis is not good, but it's too early to tell for sure. Their baby just turned 1 year old.

Tell the ones that matter most to you, how much they mean to you. You just can never tell nor take them for granted.

Hi, thanks! She's actually doing fairly well. It took a lot of physical therapy to get back to a somewhat normal life. She still has a bit of a limp on one side, so she has to work around it. A little slower at everything, but still the same person. The worst part is - nobody knows what happened and it's really just an assumption of a TIA/Mini Stroke... but nothing conclusive to even really make a definitive diagnosis.
