Acer Aspire One Hard Drive Unlockhd.exe

Hello, I've been searching for a program named unlockhd.exe to remove the password on a friends Acer Aspire One. The unlock password key is 38293527 and I can boot to a flash drive to run the unlock program but I have not been able to find it online. I was hoping someone could run the unlockhd program and use the key to produce the autogenerated codes or point me in the right direction to download it. I've tried HDD_PW.exe with no avail but I think that works on different types of Hard Drives than the one they have. Any assistance would be appreciated. I can use an ultimate boot cd to wipe out the drive but my friend would lose their pictures, etc. The device does belong to them they just forgot the password.

If you run out of options, it should be something that we can handle here as a minor recovery. What is the model of drive?

Wow! I'd have thought that vendors would have updated their systems to more secure mechanisms. Dogbert's stuff has been around a while. Good to know that it still works.
