I have an Acer laptop in the shop -
Acer Aspire 5517-5997 - Win 8.1 x64. 4 GB RAM.
An older model for sure, but runs surprising well with an SSD drive. The issue is that the volume output is extremely low. Ran SDI & brought all drivers up to date. Tweaked several audio settings, i.e., loudness equalization, which is supposed to remedy this situation.
Still has low output; when set to max volume, it sounds like 25% compared to most other pc's. I've never seen one with this low of an audio output. Any ideas?
