I know I am over thinking this and there is a real simple solution.

A client has just upgrade from Windows XP and Works to a Windows 10 Laptop with openoffice. (there is another story maybe for another day)

The had all their address in the Address Book on Windows XP. used to go to print an envelope in works no problem they select the person and print.

Does anyone know an easy way to do this in Windows 10. I have the list I just need a really simple solution.

IE

Open Document.
Insert Address From List
Print.

They don't have Office only Office Office

Thanks in advance.

OpenOffice or LibreOffice? Might be worth looking at this: https://help.libreoffice.org/Common/Address_Data_Source

I'm not sure if the same information applies to OpenOffice. You might also end up needing to convert from WAB to something else like CSV; I had to do that a year or two back and I'm trying to remember what the process was..... It may even have involved exporting thousands of .vcf files, then merging and cleaning them up.

Still working on this, The Libreoffice/OO is too complex for my client.

I have it working in Word/Outlook noi problem but they won't spend anymore money on Office.

All the contacts are a mess really. As they have multiple address under each contact, some first and last name as just a business name.

They may end up spending more on your billable time than it would cost to get something with Outlook. You could also import their contacts then export into a CSV file that can be imported into something else, but the question of an actual contacts database will still remain.
