It's like I imagine the inside of an abattoir to look. Why all the red?

Try to focus on the services you're selling and why people need them rather than what you can give away for free.

This page contains concepts and ideas we just haven’t released yet. Please check this page for updates on the newest test-drive services and products we are offering!
Why have it there at all if there's nothing to offer?

It looks to me like you're trying to make your offered services and skills fit a web template rather than have a website fitted around the skills and services you can currently provide.

defff looks better then 90 percent of pc repair sites. i would take some of that bevel off your logo. takes aways from the proffesional look.

Took the bevel off - don't know if you've looked at it since.

I do like the look of the site however..

The width of the site is a good fit, the length is to long imo.

The pictures (including your header logo) I believe are way to big.

Personally I'd reduce the size of the images to at least 75%.

Remember that not everyone has a high resolution, so checking the site in various resolutions is important. :)

Header, I can work on. I don't know how it would look having a skinny one with a lot of white space on each side though?? Suggestions?

Great website, what did you make it with?

BTW your data recovery prices are way to cheap, people will pay a lot more to get their info back.

It's a wordpress site. I make all my sites in Wordpress unless I can find a better fit... i.e. openrealty for realtors.

Thanks for the hint on the prices on data recovery! :)

Thanks Jose, glad you like it. I'm getting ready to address the slaughterhouse comment in a second, funny that nobody "SAW" (pun intended) that way but him. I wasn't going for Christmas-y, but it works! Everyone loves Christmas...

Well, firstly - I'm sure everyone will agree with me when I say... you gave no constructive criticism at all. Secondly, I'm sorry that you are such a dark-souled individual as to think of nothing but blood and gore. Not very many people associate red with blood first thing. I think I'll stick with Jose's Christmasy feeling. :) The reason it's all red is because I want red to be the branded color of the business. JTekNet is going green and SiteDesignWV is going to be blue. I'm going to play with "RGB" idea and see what creative marketing ideas I can come up with all three colors.

I probably do have a reference to something free in there, but I'm sure whatever reason I have it - brings me more business and establishes a better relationship with my customers than had I not put whatever you are making a reference to up on my site.

If there's nothing there to offer, why did I get a comment on the BLOG the day I released it? Come on, don't take jabs at me, man. Give me suggestions. Every suggestion I've been given thusfar on here for my web site, I've acted upon and put into practice.

website not workin for me.

Sweet. Glad you don't like it. That means you can help me improve it. Now, tell me why you don't like it.

I have to say that I like the site a lot.

The few things I would change are as follows: reduce the size of the main image, remove the white around the main image, on the testimonial page I don't see a place to actually post one even though the text asks you to. If the feature is not available yet I would suggest saying something along the lines of, "The ability to post a testimonial will soon be available." or something along those lines. Other than that I think it's a pretty good website!

Thanks for your comments. Working on it right now! I'm adding my twitter updates right beside what USED to be a HUGE header (main image). I also moved my navigation to touch your toolbars almost because it was wasting a lot of space. After resizing and moving the logo up to touch the navigation I moved the main page content WAY up so now you aren't scrolling just to get to the "meat and potatoes" of the site. Adding a twitter widget now! *heads over to twitter.com*

Hey, not to bring up an old topic... okay, yeah I am.

Just wanted to see what everyone thinks now. I have done a lot, I'm sure there are things you'll hate, and love. Let me know what you think though and I'll see what I can do about it. I want my site to be the best it can be, and I know with your help, that can happen! :)

I think it looks good!

I would only suggest you modify the pictures or the container with the text. Some of them are real close to the text (avast, mobo, laptop) could just be firefox. Not that big of an issue tho.

I see what you are saying. I'll check and see why some of them are doing that. I'm just using the built-in "add picture to post" feature of wordpress so it shouldn't be doing that on some and not on others. Unless the one that it's not doing it on has a transparent border in the picture. That would explain that, in which case, I have no idea how to fix it. Suppose I'll do some debugging. :D
