Done-For-You Newsletter Content for Techs

Hi

just subscribed to the newsletter and it looks great.

is there any way to access any of the older news letters
prior to my subscription, I dont mind if there's a small fee

Thanks

Chris..
Working on a good way to do this at the moment.

@Bryce W there used to be a form for suggested articles but I could not find it. Anyway, one I would like to suggest as I seen it as part of another blog is
Practice the 3-2-1 rule: create 3 backup copies on 2 different media with 1 backup offsite
Thank you. Will incorporate this rule in a backup article.

Agreed.
Also, the benefits of a cloud backup vs. DropBox and similar.

Yes, it will be as a bonus bit of content similar to the Black Friday one as a seperate document, but not IN the newsletters (because it's timely).

Thats a great idea, on my last mail-out I had four customers include me in their forwards to friends so I know they are trying to get this functionality.

Idea for topic: The benefits of a relationship with your IT technician weighed against using purely remote or software related solutions.

I would love an article on why driver update slimeware does not help your machine go faster. We have had a number of customers in lately with the annoying habit of installing driver update software and then wondering why there are all sorts of popups and malware. They believe these softwares are the answer to making their computers streamlined.
I even had a customer yesterday with an invoice from "WinZip a Corel company" for WinZip Driver Update. He paid $40 to a german bank and then was upset that the software would not install. He was instant that this software would speed up his machine (A core 2 duo running Vista), once we took a look at it he had MailWasher & Driver Update already installed as well.

I just switched to MailChimp and the prebuilt templates are really slick. Have you given any thought to building in a forward to a friend link? http://kb.mailchimp.com/campaigns/design/add-the-forward-to-a-friend-link
We tested this and it appears you have to setup a forms and such, so its no longer a 1 click solution. That said, we could add some text saying to forward it to a friend if you think they'll find it useful.

@Bryce W Are there any plans for a World Backup Day special edition for March 31st?
Not at the moment.

Will add it to the potential topics list.

Is there any Windows 10 creators newsletter planned?
Not planned, but added to the potential topic list now.
