I'd vote for proportional representation. And a free sword. FYI thats the distance between the parties in the house of commons - 2 swords lengths. Too much bloodshed during "robust" discussions i guess.
- I'm an ex pat - thats my comment.

PR would still have resulted in a win for Cameron and probably given UKIP around 50 seats (giving a very scary right wing coalition).

Hopefully the EU referendum will result in the UK staying in Europe. It has its faults, but we're better in it than out of it in my opinion.

I posted on Facebook if ever there was a call for proportional representation this election results was it. UKIP got 1 seat, SNP got 56 seats and yet UKIP got 3 times as many votes!

+1 for PR. It would mean the more extreme party's getting more seats in parliament, but if you want democracy...

The thing is though, no party in power is going to give smaller guys a break.

That like comparing apples with oranges. As ukip certainly didn't get anywhere near that in Scotland ( the only part of the UK where the SNP stood for election) in fact the actually their total in every Scottish seat was a mere 47000.

Oooh... guess they don't believe in pulling punches in Manchester.

But some more zero-hour contracts and austerity will fix things right up!
