Finding the Perfect Keyboard

I recently bought a new keyboard, it's the one that comes with the Microsoft Wireless Desktop 800, and I hate it. First off, there is no space between the letters and the arrows and the number pad. The F keys are all half sized and they are not grouped in sets of 4 like I thought most keyboards were. I knew both of these things before I purchased the set and I didn't think such small changes would be a problem, but I just can't stand them. I've been to best buy and office depot to look for a replacement, but I just can't find a keyboard that has all of the things I want. I looked online and found some that have what I want but I'd rather not buy one without actually being able to touch it or without some recommendations.

Here's what I'm looking for:
1. F keys are grouped 4-4-4 with space in between and are full sized.
2. There is space in between the letters and arrows and number pad.
3. If the F keys have alternate functions (volume, brightness, etc.) I should not have to hit a special key to get the F key to work.
4. There must be an application key. I don't use it often, but I like it and a lot of keyboards I looked at have removed or replaced it.
5. Firm keys.
6. No funky shapes, screens and I don't care about multimedia buttons.

So, I want to know what keyboard you use and why you like it and perhaps someone could even point me to a good one.

most logitech keyboards are designed as you are wanting. Here is a low cost wireless keyboard/mouse combo I have used before:

Personally my all time favorite keyboard is the discontinued logitech G15 gaming keyboard. It has lit keys, 18x3 programmable keys, nice size and great feel, 2 usb ports, and a small lcd screen.

I use LCDSirReal that shows me my cpu, memory, and network usage in real time. I also use the programmable keys to start scripts on my workbench system (wsusoffline files update with the push of one button, etc).

They have newer updated versions of the keyboard with color lcd and other features, but I have been happy with this one:
