Fix Farcry 4 0xc000007b error win7 x64

step 1 uninstall all Microsoft visual c++ 2010 both x64 and x86
step 2 browse farcry 4 install dvd 1 to the support\software\VCRdist\
and run vcredist_x64

and that should fix your problem with game launching it usually is due to the file being x86 and not x64.

If this does not work download dependency walker

The file causing the problem will be in red copy it to a safe place and replace it.

Better yet get it from steam. I get almost all my games from steam now days and don't have many issues with them.

Except its a ubisoft game, so even if you buy it on steam you still gotta deal with the horror that is uplay. And uplay is what is gonna manage the installation of required redist packs and updates.
But either way, who buys retail packaging anymore? And if you do, wouldn't it have been a better idea to download the latest redist directly from microsoft vs using the outdated one that comes on-disc?
