Epic games..support not as so.
Have you tried allowing the exe through your FW & AV - or disable both temp. It may be triggering a hypervigilant security issue on the .exe itself.
Found this on the Googles -
Solution..probably
The main thing is to ensure that your applications can access the files they need to run.
In the case of Fortnite, this means either reinstalling the game or changing the necessary files. The latter can be achieved by using a device within the system itself...
Delete the folder Fortnite «Binary files».
When you develop applications, the "binary" folder is the place where all the "working" files are stored.
For example, any "EXE" files that may be in your application are stored in this folder.
For Fortnite, deleting the "binary" folder means that you can load the "recovery" object into the Epic Games launcher, which should solve the problem you're facing:
- Look in the following folder: C:\Program Files\Epic Games\Fortnite\FortniteGame
- Select the folder «Binary»
- Delete (press «Delete» on the keyboard)
Then restart the computer, and then return to the Fortnite site — download a new copy of the installer and run it.
Download the Epic Games launcher.
The next step will be downloading "Epic Games Launcher"...
- This can be done by clicking on the desktop and clicking on its icon.
- In the «Start» menu, select the small «gear» icon next to the «Start» button (green).
- In the menu that opens, select «Check».
- This may take some time and basically fix all serious problems with Fortnite and its files.
- When you're done, try pressing «Execute».
This should launch the game and allow you to launch it.
If it doesn't work after you do it, you will need to continue the reinstallation (which takes more time and takes up more space).
(If it doesn't work) We install the game
If the verification process does not work, you will need to reinstall the game.
For this you need to perform the following steps:
- In Windows 7, click Start > Control Panel > Install and Uninstall Programs.
- In Windows 10, right-click «Start»> select «Applications and functions».
- From the displayed lists (in both systems), go to Fortnite and delete it.
- You can also remove Epic Games Launcher (if its icon appears)
Then restart the computer, and then return to the Fortnite site — download a new copy of the installer and run it.
This should remove files that are loaded when trying to download Fortnite.
