My friend started doing food reviews as he is a foodie. He has been using his Samsung Galaxy S23 or 24 Ultra's front camera so he can see himself while recording. He would like to be able to use the rear camera instead as the image quality is way better, but then he can't see himself. Is there anything out there that could help him see himself? Maybe a small wireless monitor that can show what's on the phone's display? He's been thinking about getting the new vlogging camera that is coming out by Sony, but that is like $1,100.

All it takes is a mounting stand such as this one: Phone Stand on Amazon I like for Document Scanning with Smartphones

And having the phone set up to cast to a TV or other device that can do an on screen display while recording. Or think about using something like RustDesk or similar to have the phone display showing on a computer screen while he's recording.

I just remembered Samsung DeX. Could that be an option? Connect the phone to a small portable monitor via HDMI or maybe USB-C?

I have no idea, as I have not had a Samsung device since the single one, a Galaxy S7, I had years ago. It now serves as an MP3 player in my partner's den.

He says he does most of his reviews in his car during his lunch break so the best option would be to get a Sony vlogger camera. He makes good $$$ so he can afford it lol.
