so My old KVM finally bit the dust so I got a new KVM from Startech:

nice 4 port KVM with VGA simple for my bench work
BUT I had a thought, what if I was to hook up a USB hub to one of the 2 USB ports on the KVM and then add a tech usb to the hub?
I was thinking of setting up a tool set with hard drive test, UVK, Other things that I would usually go and grab any ways, then when the KVM is switched that the computer it would have all the tools already??
My only concern would be to protect the USB, so one of those Kanguru USB drives that you can secure, or another drive that is read only, as you dont want to just plug in a usb to every machine....thoughts?
