It helps if you spell out the numbers: One "2", Three "4"['s], Five "6"['s], Seven "8"['s]. Intended to be clever, but it fails because in the end, it's not.I must be retarded. one 2, three 4s, five 6es, seven 8s ... but wait, there are eight 8s????
Thanks, that's what I did but the eighth 8 violated the expected sequence, so its really not a solvable puzzle. That last character could have been anything else and it would achieve the same purpose -- to break the obvious sequence. Ok, will I'm an idiot because I've seen that before when it was done correctly with seven 8's. It's not an unsolvable puzzle, it's either a deliberate troll, or an unintentional mistake.the eighth 8 violated the expected sequence
