One of the many hundreds of reasons fireworks were banned for general sale to the public in Australia.

They can only be obtained with appropriate licensing by sports clubs, event organisers etc.
"Cracker night" was a perilous time when I was a kid. Many times I saw people severely injured from "crackers."
How many Aussie's remember Double Bungers, Tom Thumbs, Penny Bungers, and those mini sticks of dynamite we called Thunders?
