You know that because the truism, "everything old is new again," is true that glam rock, and all that went with it, will make a comeback.
Reminds me of skinny ties. When I was 13 or so, and starting to wear ties more often, I wanted what was in fashion then. Those wide paisley ties and similar. I got some of those but my Dad gave me a bunch of his skinny ties from the '40's. I told him nobody will wear them again. He said they'll be fashionable again you just wait and see. Sure enough they came roaring back in the '80's
 
I still miss DEC, though. I cut my programming teeth on a DEC PDP-10 and had a VAX at my first real job.
You're not the only one. DEC wasn't the first computer I worked with but it was the first major computer OEM. We had PDP-11's on drilling rigs. Engineering and manufacturing shared a 11/785 cluster. The only place you saw IBM was accounting/finance.
