37...old enough to remember DOS but young enough to know nothing about punch cards.

Punch cards? How many of us have wired up an IBM (or other) "accounting machine" patch panel? Or programmed in 1401 autocoder? <raises hand>

0x39 here and can remember paper tape as well as punch cards and booting the machine was by using the correct mix and sequence of about 30 switches

im 25 and i started out on dos as a kid.... some of my favorite games are on dos! my first computer was a 486 DX 66mhz 8 mb of ram (4 was standard) 500 mb hard drive 3.5 inch floppy paid extra for a 2x cd drive. and windows 3.11... i know its not punch cards but its pretty inpressive i think for only being 25.

What a great machine that was! We'd spend hours playing Parsec, Alpiner, and Hunt the Wumpus It even had a cassette recorder (using audio cassette tapes) to save data and BASIC programs to. Those were the days....
