One of my clients has an XP machine with the above installed onto it. The hard drive is failing so I used Acronis and cloned the drive to a new one but office will not work. I get the following error

Microsoft Office XP edition has detected a significant change in your machine configuration. For Microsoft Office XP edition to continue functioning properly, and to avoid entry into reduced functionality mode, you must reactivate your product. With the product in reduced functionality mode, you will not be able to save or create new documents, and other product functionality will be reduced. For more information about reduced functionality mode, click the Help button.

They cannot find the install disks anywhere and it will not allow me to install libre office as it notices Office XP is not installed properly and fails the install. I have moved him back to his old hard drive for now.

They have a LOB program on this machine so I cannot wipe and start again as I don't know how to configure it.

It is looking for PRO.MSI but I can't find it, any ideas

Clone the disk with clonezilla now!

Then use a utility to backup his office XP installation token. I think you can do it with advanced tokens manager or something. Look in page two of the tools of the week section at the bottom of the forums.

Make SURE you have a good working clone. A proper clone shouldn't really be fussy with program activations, but if Office XP is your only issue then backup the activation token from the original drive and do this ONLY have you've gotten a full clone with clonezilla.
