PC doesn't enter Windows all of the sudden

Hey guys, been a while since I posted on the forums.

I got in this PC yesterday. Actually it's a return job of sorts. The first time I had to give it a Nuke & Pave as it gave lots of random errors, MBR missing, slowing down a lot etc. So I went and installed Windows on another hard drive (computer has 3 clean drives) and formatted the original C drive. After this the computer was good and gave no problems for about a week.
I was distraught when the customer called me yesterday to say the PC won't 'get into windows today'.

So basically what it does is, when I start it up it goes to the 'Windows did not start successfully, a recent hardware to software change....' screen (every time) and gives the boot options. When I choose Start Windows Normally, it goes to a blank screen and doesn't change, tested it for 20 minutes. Safe Mode loads all the drivers but stalls, doesn't enter Windows. Last Known Good did actually make it into Windows, when I got there, it gave a 'delayed write failed on C:\...' message. However, when I restarted, it again went to the 'Windows did not start successfully' screen.

The PC runs some old Athlon single core with a Nvidia 6600GT video card, 2GB of DDR333 Ram and then ...Watercooling for some reason I am yet to find

Right now I am not sure which way to go. If anyone could be some help here, it would be most awesome.

EDIT: It got into Windows just now, after some time. It gave a Windows has recovered from a serious error message. Here's what it shows, if it is of any help:

I'm not going to google the error code you provided as I'm sure you've done that already?

Failing hard drive seems likely from the bits you've described, have you ran diagnostics on it?

Sorry for the late reply guys. Yes I ran diagnostics just now, took some time. Memory is fine, Hard Drive results came back with too many bad sectors on Western Digital Data LifeGuard. This is strange, hard drive was fine a week ago and now this happens.

Bad sectors develop at many time, the work you did a few weeks back may have just been the last straw for a drive which was starting to fail. The true fault in the first place may have been the drive, sometimes a failing drive can pass all the diagnostics.
