Pics of your Work Areas!

Hello all,

Been a while since we've posted. Were moving into a new building across the street from our current location. LOT of work ahead! Were thinking of reversing our theme colors for this one (Walls green with black trim) and Blue used as accent color. Currently its the exact opposite. We'll be tripling our space (there's more offices, storage area in back not shown in pics).
Right now its VERY bland being plain white. Compared to our loud colors anyway lol. Here are a few current shop photos and the photos of the new building.

We'll post progress pics along the way. We are starting now and will be done in approx 30 days.

The activities you will have with all that open space

Here is my work at home area.

Nice, I see potential there

Hi all,

Here is the before video of the new shop showing what we have to work with. We will try to video the whole transformation process as much as we can. The video can be viewed here:

Dang man, I'm jealous. That is an awesome space. Congrats, its going to look amazing when done. And you'll have a psychologist next door? You should partner up and slip them some cash to insert subliminal messages during hypnotherapy to make people want to upgrade their computers!

Much happier now we can spread out a bit.

We have been here now just over 2 months. Walk in trade is picking up, and very pleased to have moved and with the new shopfront.

I'm sure he will put it to much better use then the 9,700SQFt building where I work :/. We have so much room and potential but it's just down the drain.

Here is a Google virtual tour link of my shop. Fun things to see...3 Chronic Cellars posters (Dead Nuts, The Unteachables & Purple Paradise) in the tech bench area and the wall clock in the reception area. I had the tech benches custom made by a local cabinet maker. I use raceways to hide the cabling.

Looks fricken awesome man! One question though. Have you considered using your back area for your some of your work benches so you can utilize some of that real estate up front for retail?

We are probably 98% service and 2% retail. If we get into more parts retailing then we would rather have them "in the back" sort of speak and bring them out for the customer, vs having them handle merchandise themselves. It would help with any theft issues. We will of course have a few point of sale things out like, thumb drives, misc cables etc. The valuable stuff though we would rather treat like a 'counter type of sale' similar to an auto parts store where you go up to the counter and the employee gets the item for you. With the space in the back we could stock tons of stuff if needed. So far this has worked out very well for us so we are just going to continue it. For a while I did beat myself up over whether to have more 'retail space' vs more repair space. We are close enough to best buy, staples etc that we will never reallly be able to compete with those types of sales which is why we focus on the other.

We are slowly getting into phone/tablet accessories and repair, but would ideally still like to display minimal stuff and have the real stock in back.
