Problem connecting cables to Wi-Fi

I was using a USB Wi-Fi but found it too cumbersome I found a donor laptop cut the good ends off and resoldered the wires onto mine
I did not want to take it apart as the antenna usually goes to the top of the screen.
works perfect

Thanks for all the help

How did you solder those tiny coax cables? Or did you solder the conductor & shield all together? If the latter, I expect wifi range will be severely compromised.
