I was a big screenconnect fan until they sold to labtech and changed their pricing structure.
Simple-Help looks very similar. I will have to look into that one. Thanks.

Evaluating Simple-Help two week trial on a thin client that I always have running here (a bit under-powered) for VoIP and other things. We'll see. Others here are very complimentary of S-H. (Almost did SC awhile ago.......) I like the idea of a one-time ownership and customization instead of subscription. Not sure why. I think subscription is a better business choice.

Simple-Help is offering free month-long trials, not two weeks as I mentioned above (not sure where I saw that). I'm impressed so far but the Linux client choked on the first couple tries. Tough to do a Linux client with auto-start but not an issue really for me.

@edit - More of a Firefox issue than Linux. The process has another step or two but flows pretty well when using Chrome on Mint 17.2. Think I read something somewhere about the Firefox issue......

We are a team of 3 engineers and we use Teamviewer for all our Business / Domestic clients. We've opted for their annual subscription this year after getting fed up with managing keys / buying the latest update / managing workstations for our 3 business versions. The Annual sub is for unlimited workstations and the latest version and work out about £20 a seat pcm (aprox).

Any updates on your Simple-Help testing? I'm too am looking for a replacement for SC after they changes their pricing structure.

Simple Help is working great for us but our needs are simple (chuckle....). Once installed it runs as a service and takes almost no resources. We run it locally with port forwarding. It's been very responsive and reliable with a few connection tweaks. Our Internet up speed is slow so the clients will have a short delay on their first use, but so far it hasn't been an issue at all. Branding is very nice.
I mentioned it somewhere else but their demo is deceiving. The control panel in the demo is just for the demo. After your full install, everything is done through the tech panel.

I use two products, ScreenConnect and IMPCRemote. I don't see anyone else here using IMPCRemote and am wondering if there is any specific reasons for this. All the best to everyone and Thanks.

I'm using Zoho Assist. I'm not sure if they still offer it, but I have unlimited unattended installs for a low monthly cost. Its not as mature as some of the other products but they are making improvements constantly.

Currently ScreenConnect but NAble has their branded version of BeAnywhere coming out next version update. It's very slick. Might be better than SC. I'll know as soon as it's released for NAble hosted users. I think they sell it separately from NAble also, but not positive.
